Representatives Bill of Rights Pledge

Let's separate the wheat from the chaff! Let's see which politicians will actually support freedom when we hold their feet to the fire, and which will duck and hide.
As a top freedom priority, every Operation Take Back America supporter should sit down ASAP, send the following pledge to his or her local and state politicians, and ask them to sign it: Note: We're talking state and local politicians ONLY.

THE REPRESENTATIVES' BILL OF RIGHTS PLEDGE

I solemnly swear (or affirm) that:

I will actively support ALL of the Bill of Rights for ALL citizens. I will support the Bill of Rights in my speeches, in my work, and in my life.

I will actively endeavor to eliminate any and all existing government policies that violate any portion of the Bill of Rights.

I will actively oppose any new or proposed government policies that violate the Bill of Rights.

I understand that adhering faithfully to the Bill of Rights is a part of the requirement of my oath of office.

When I sign this pledge and make these promises, I understand the media and the public will be notified and I will be placed on the Bill of Rights Day Committee Honor Roll.

Should I fail to keep these promises, I understand the media and the public will be notified and I will be placed in the Bill of Rights Day Committee Hall of Shame.

Why are we asking you to ignore your federal legislators?

One: Because they are hardest to move. We waste too much effort pushing against the immovable object of Congress when we ought to be moving politicians closer to us.

Two: Because we want to alarm them by telling them we think they're irrelevant. If our grassroots effort works, they'll be begging us to let them in on the act.

Three: Because most federal politicians cut their teeth in local and state government. By working in our own states and communities, we not only restore liberty from the ground up, we catch federal politicians and train them to obey the laws of liberty before they get out of control.
